while there, he inspected the troop.
The one day visit was a mememorable day for
the Wyoming barracks

| Roosevelt, from 1895 to 1897, served as
president of the Police Commission of New York City, and never relinquished his high
regard for those who served the colors of that public service uprightly. (Currently
