On August 10, 1910, former-President Theodore Roosevelt visited the Wyoming barracks

President Roosevelt highly complimented the personnel
at Wyoming barracks and
while there, he inspected the troop.

The one day visit was a mememorable day for
the Wyoming barracks


 
Roosevelt, from 1895 to 1897, served as president of the Police Commission of New York City, and never relinquished his high regard for those who served the colors of that public service uprightly.
